I bought my 09 V8V about a month ago and the previous owner had installed some very nice 20" HRE forged Monoblok wheels.
I live in Pennsylvania, which is mostly made of potholes, so I'd like to swap them out for 19's. I could use the extra sidewall.
But also, the car needs a clutch and I'm short on cash, so I figured I could raise some money by selling these wheels & tires and getting a less expensive set.
Ok, so because the moderators don't understand that I'm asking for opinions from the Aston Martin ownership community, they've moved my thread to the classifieds where no one in the Aston Martin ownership community will see it.
But, hey, lemonade out of lemons, I guess. I will sell my gloss black HRE Monoblok forged M49 wheels, with tires, for $1900 or best offer, if I can find a decent set of 19's to go on the car in their place. The tires are Hankook Ventus V12's with roughly half the tread remaining. They're not great tires, nowhere near the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, which is why I'm basically not asking anything for them.
The wheels are gloss black, very good condition, no nicks, chips, scratches, or other damage that I can see other than a few scuffs in the lug nut holes, which is fairly common. The center caps are in perfect condition, as well. They retailed somewhere between $1800-2400 each when they were new, and HRE doesn't make this style any more.
Because of flat spots the front two tires were recently road-force balanced by a local McLaren/Aston service center when I had it in for an alignment. The rears were not done and only have a slight vibration. I presume the new owner would be putting new tires on them anyway.
if you're interested send me a message, especially if you have a set of inexpensive 19" wheels you're considering parting with (just not chrome ones, please).

I'm not going to add anything relavent here.. but your car looks great btw Also.. I have had a hell of a time selling wheels here or on any other forum. Try offerup or facebook marketplace. You should find a larger audience. BTW.. sold someone my F10 M5 that I put 21's on. He also being in PA., sold those wheels and put on 20s. Whats up with your roads??? LoL

Thanks! I wasn't crazy about the yellow at first but now it's really grown on me. Definitely an uncommon color for a Vantage.
I already put the wheels on Facebook marketplace and had no replies. Maybe I'll try offerup.
Pennsylvania has garbage roads (5th worst in the country!) for a lot of reasons. The main one is that, despite the outrageously high gas tax, the funding for repairs is insufficient... because billions of dollars get siphoned off every year to fund the state police.
