Guys please be aware this fraudster has copied my listing and pictures for my Kline exhaust system that I advertised for sale may months ago. I have sold the rear section on another forum and only the manifolds remain.

In the words of Slim Shady, I'm the real DeputyDog95 and I'm pleased to stand up I just got a notification email from 6speed today that my PW was changed. Odd... Checked that notification email 6 ways to Sunday thinking it might have been a phishing scam to get my PW before I verified it was real. I have not been on this forum in years... Literally. I have no idea how my PW was breached or why.

And I certainly did not post this or have anything to do with it. GT3 Chuck should know better... I've actually been around here long enough to have hung out with VR Alexander (in Chuck's sig) back in the day. RIP.

Does anyone really think a guy who been a member here since 2004, is known personally to a ton of members on this board, has a screen name of DeputyDog (you can probably figure out what I used to do for a living) and has over 9k posts decided to go rogue and come up with fake listing? LOL

BTW, I already updated my PW. Maybe 6speed's database has been breached? No idea. However, whoever posted this... It wasn't me.

FWIW, I went down the rabbit hole of club racing and got out of the streetcar scene. Hence my absence here. Should have stayed on 6speed and saved myself a lot of money. Racing is worse than crack and I'm still on the proverbial pipe

IB Tim jumped on it since I am somewhat retired from the forum and he correctly assumed that it was a post that appeared to be from a valued member and attempted to contact you. I saw the reported post and checked your account and saw that you hadn’t posted in five years so I suspected your account was hacked. We have had some instances of people’s passwords being hacked (I don’t believe any have been compromised on this site but I know for sure that people that have the same password on Rennlist have had their accounts breached here). Anyway, sure hope you and yours are all well and your presence here has been missed!

F'ing scammers. I tried to buy a used Peleton (new ones were back ordered 2 months) during the pandemic (I was using a borrowed one and fell in love with it after my gym closed) and I found the same ad in three different cities. Literally using the same pics and ad copy. People have no shame.

I probably should poke my head in here periodically. This was my favorite car forum. Good content and fun people.

Glad we were able to get this all resolved and vindicate my good name LOL
