Up for sale is my 'as new' Cobb AccessPort for 997.1 TT and 997.1 GT2. I bought this Cobb for my 997.1 GT2 and it could not successfully connect to my DME. I pursued a support case with Cobb (Support Cases 487132 and 570007) to find out what is wrong and they recommended I gain access to a PIWIS to see if there were any communication faults reported, even after debugging with their own internal software. I was finally able to gain access to PIWIS 3 last week and my car shows no communication issues, but the Cobb will simply not successfully connect to my DME. We tried multiple cables but it is not a hardware issue with any Cobb parts.

Please view my video shared below to show that it connects perfectly to my friends 997.1 TT, and the issue with communication is specific to my own 997.1 GT2. My issue is very likely caused by a past DME update that flipped a checksum that the Cobb doesn't tolerate (so it gives up) but remains mysterious. Both the PIWIS and Protomotive calibration loader have no issues with communicating with my DME, but the Cobb does. We were able to download my calibration and confirm that it's completely stock using the Protomotive tools.

So, I cannot use this Cobb and am offering it for sale 'as new'. Please see the link to the actual product below, a video I took showing successful communication to my friends DME, and photos of the actual Cobb AccessPort for sale. Again it is 'as new' but is technically not new as it has been in my hands for over a year, just never used.

This unit has never been married to any DME and is guaranteed to work (meaning I'll buy it back myself at full cost if it cannot connect to your appropriate Porsche 997.1 TT or 997.1 GT2). I just cannot use it due to the nature of my own car, and will pursue a different avenue for tuning my car. Please let me know what questions you have.
