This is an excellent condition Cobb Access Port handheld tuner for 996 and 997.1 turbos and GT2. The model number is AP3-APA-001. It comes with a BBI custom tune. Includes the OBD2 cable, user manual, case, box, and unused mount.

I bought this off of OfferUp and was an idiot and didn’t check to see if it was married and locked to an earlier car or if it had been unmarried. Of course it’s still married!

Cobb can reset the handset with all of their off the shelf tunes for $1350 which is a lot cheaper than the current price of a new unit - $2100. So if you were planning to go that direction or if you wanted an access port to give to a pro tuner you could do so and save a $600 by buying this one and mailing it in.

I will also accept trades for an unmarried unit for a 2008 Turbo manual transmission.

 

Please post the required asking price for those math challenged.

Cost of having this fixed by Cobb $787.50 about 70% of the cost of new device. Making your used device more expensive than a new one.

Your best bet is to have it fixed and use it. Unless you are giving it away for free not sure how this makes sense to buy.

Also that part number is for a blank AP that can be used on several makes and models of cars. So if you can plug it in and look for tuner / car information maybe you can track down the current owner of this vehicle and it might be very valuable to them.
