Help Sourcing AM Carbon Buckets?

Hey folks, putting a lot of feelers out for this and thought i'd drop a note here.

Im in the hunt for a set of OEM lightweight carbon bucket seats for a V12 Vantage. If anyone has a set or a line on a set let me know. Would prefer to source in the states but willing to import if needed. Thanks all

You probably know this already, but ECPS makes a good looking knock-off carbon seat.

Yes, they do. That's my back up plan but really hoping to find a OEM set...

Pretty sure they were not offered in the states....lack of required airbags. Which begs the question, what sensor issues would you trigger if installed?

Correct, these were never brought to the US due to the lack of side air bags. From what I've looked into they either came with, or at least they're available, the resistors needed to not cause any issues/codes when installed.

Have you reached out to Nicholas Mee? They've been my go-to on parts in the past. I'm also interested in adding the carbon lightweight seats to my car at some point, since I'm not there yet I haven't reached out but Nicholas Mee may be my first stop to see if they can find them when the time comes, especially since they have an in-house group for interior trim work - https://www.nicholasmee.co.uk/

Aston Martin Bits had a set which are now sold. I doubt they'd have a set of high dollar seats in hand that they haven't listed, but may be worth an email just to check if they can help get ahold of them - https://astonmartinbits.com/models/5...age/parts/4931

Best of luck! Post here if you end up having success. I'd like to add these at some point as well.

Quick update for those interested - Aston Martin is no longer making these seats. For a while they were taking made-to-order requests but no longer.

So appears the only way to get these are second-hand or the ECPS route - they are also made to order with a current 8-9 week ETA. I asked them a few questions around build quality as i want to be sure they hold up in an accident. This is what they said:

"We use the same fabric as aston martin does - that's the most important. We are buying the carbon fibre fabric from Germany - it's high quality. We have our own technology of making carbon parts.Yes molds were taken from the OEM seats. It's not reverse-engineered."

Would prefer an OEM used set. Willing to ship if anyone has a line on a set.
