What is the different between a GT2 and a GT3 seats?

 

GT2 seats - intended for 2005 or newer Boxster, Caymans, and Carrera models, they should also fit 986 and 996 models. Unlike other seats, this set comes with built-in side impact airbags and will fold forward for access to the rear of the car. The back shell is made of Carbon Fiber, available with black leather or black cloth. Each seat weighs around 25 lbs, which is about 15-25 lbs lighter than standard seats.

All GT2 and GT3 seats are compatible with a 6-point race harness system, additional hardware may be required.

 

997 GT3 Seats - Porsche's lightest seat weighing just over 20 lbs per seat. Carbon fiber shell with black leather and Alcantara inserts, and a Carrera GT inspired design. A fixed bucket shell, truly Porsche's premium seat. Fits All Boxster & Cayman models, and 1999-09 Carrera models.

 

996 GT3 Seats - The best priced seats available from Porsche. Composite fixed shell bucket seat, available in cloth or leather (a few color choices are available). Each seat weighs around 28 lbs. Fits all Boxsters, Caymans, and 1999-09 Carreras models.

 

Sorry, I saw the picture of the 996 GT3 seats and a note saying you have the GT2 and GT3 seats so i thought they made a different seat for 996 GT2 and GT3.

 

I have a set of the GT3 seats as shown in the response from Suncoast, complete with brackets, rails etc. ready to bolt in as soon as they arrive. Never used, but assembled and stored in climate controlled apt. I will sell them for $9000.00 plus shipping from Louisiana. I will need to have crates made to ship them in as I no longer have the original boxes.
