No dealer for 150 miles

Simple, it's called time management. Unless you get pleasure of doing something yourself, it is wiser to pay someone to do it if it costs alot less than your time is worth if you were to do it yourself. Since I despise wasting half a day around getting a car serviced or going to the dealer I'd much rather pay to get it picked up and dropped off.

Gil is very correct. Some of the work we do for people, they can do it themselves. But if they make $500/hour, why not pay us the $125/hour to do it? Its all about how much you value your time at.
Buy the car, truck it to the dealer for service. If its major service, the $800 round trip is nothing compared to the service bill. But really, you wont need the car serviced often. You will pay the transport fee maybe 3-4 times total. And if you look around, you could find someplace to ship it for less.

Agreed, having the car transported is they easiest and most likely alternative. Though, I really hate tossing away $800 for the round trip fare everytime the car needs to be serviced. $800 is nothing compared to the total ownership investment, but I still hate wasting money.
Certainly there are some who could do for less enclosed.
It would still be worth it to me even at $800 just not to get the road damage from driving.!

how bout a local VW dealership? Ive seen a Flying Spur being serviced at my VW dealership. I guess youd have to check them out but if there shop is tip top, I wouldnt see a problem

I've decided if I am going to have to send a car 150 miles for service, I might as well buy the car I really want - a new Ferrari F430. I sent the deposit out today for a late summer delivery.

I really love my 360 but there are times when a bigger and more comfortable car is a plus especially when cruise control is necessary for longer distances. It's not great for long distances, and I get frequently from my bride " why does this car ride so rough"!!!
Not selling my 360 but getting very serious about a Spur.
Enjoy the 430.

I am sure it is. I doubt I would ever take the CGT on road trips anyway. I would likely take my wife's LX570. I will enjoy jetting around my small town in the F430. I live in a town of 30k, never seen a CGT, Lambo, or Ferrari here. Though, there are 3 996's and 2 997's on my quiet street!

i would stil get the car if you like it. if your buying the car used have it serviced before you get it and you should be good to go for a while. i have sold a ton of gt's and only had one that needed warrenty work so its not like the cars are maintenence hogs. i also thing your quote of 800 for 300 miles is high as hell. keep in mind the bentley is more like a mercedes or bmw it can go a while without being serviced if you really have to. its not like a ferrari or lambo.... hopefully no1 jumps on me for that comment lol
