I have sold quite a few of these myself (Gossett owns Bentley Atlanta;)) and I can say that I have yet to see any problems out of a spur. only 1 CGT with an issue, it was an 05'. had a problem with a control module/key issue. it was easily resolved. gas mileage? depends on how hard you drive it. if you drive it easy, around town 15-17 is possible. 20-21 hwy, tops realistically. is you drive it hard (i.e. fast/hard accell, repeatedly in town) you're probably not going to do any better than the low teens.

Apparently they are more reliable than M-B and I speak from 1st hand experience ont hat issue! I don't even drive my Ferrari hard. I enjoy the car but don't need redline shiftpoints. I could live with 20-21 mpg highway for all the miles I would drive the car. I am looking for the relaibility side of the vehicle. What I have endured with M-B with my CL500 is plainly inexcusible. It will be over in a few weeks due to a lemon law suit against M-B. BTW, you might want to tell your Atlanta dealership that the miniscule size of the type and photos on their Bentley website is unreadable! |
what tire pressure is suggested for 06 CGT for garage storage for winter in Michigan?

It should be on the streets in California! Yeah, it was a balmy 10 degrees here today! |
You will never see 23mpg on a Bentley anything. Trust me we took my bro's to Dallas and back and even when babied and not driven hard best was 18.2mpg, 23MPG never unless its being towed.

Let me reinforce what Bajo is saying. I am averaging about 7mpg city/hwy combined and when I tried hard to get good gas mileage it was 10 at best. Don't fool yourself. You will not get anywhere near the upper teens let alone the 20's.

Why wait?? I bought mine specifically for the NYC winter as it is AWD and a great winter car.
The gas mileage is horrendous either way you drive it but I don't know anyone in this price range who cares about gas costs. :) |
