Ahh ok...but who determines the value? You? Them? Third party?

They appraise it based on comps.

Ok, thats kinda what i thought. Again gil, not trying to give you a hard time, but for someone with your colletion of cars, looking into an Agreed Value Policy might be worth the time...just a suggestion from one car guy to another :D

Update!!

Ok Finally got some good news.:)

Called State Farm and they are doing my 4 cars for $4600 a year.

Wow, un real $4000 cheaper than all the fugazi quotes I was getting. This insurance biz is all over the place.

I had 3 cars with Progressive and was paying 3900 a year, so I'm basically bringing on the Bentley for a $100 a year more. Unreal!!

Thanks for evryones input and I will take delivery of the car on Wednesday and post pictures shortly after.

Thanks again,

Ice

A lot of my client's use Haggerty and Farmers. I think they toss it in with their home owner's insurance.

Farmers does...and they are one of the best from a coverage standpoint...esp for the high-end clients.

Haggerty doesnt do Homeowners from what i know...but do a great job on specialty vehicles.

Ice, congrats Bro! Its all about being patient and finding someone who will work FOR you in this biz.

Cant wait to see the pics!!!

insurance

i use safeco for all my cars. they are fine with it. for the gt i am paying 1200 a year full coverage 1000 deductible. max out on liability at 500k/1million. here is how i did it. i put my 85 corolla as my primary car and all the other as leisure car. so each car i only pay like 1000 per year for full coverage. all the cars i got i only pay like 6000 a year.

How about geco's?

Aaa

i forgot to mention AAA. if you insure the house and cars together they also give a percentage kick back each year. i think the first year they are a little higher so you have to keep them for at least 2-3 year to see any saving.

I pay more than that on my M and CLS! :(

There are obviously horror stories for every company but State Farm is notorious in the insurance world for giving the shaft at claim time. Anyone who has a car over 100k should stop being cheap and buy Chubb. You will probably pay more per year, but god forbid there is a claim they cover you with no problems or questions.

And I would not let my worst enemy insure his stuff with Geico. If they insured as well as they advertised then it would be a different story.
