i noticed on every used bcgt that i have seen, they all have scratches on the lower front and rear bumper. they look pretty deep but not actually visible unless you look at them. it happens to any car when you run the front bumper onto a steep sloped drive way or surface.

Can this be repaired or does it just have to be replaced once the damage is too much? could it be sanded, filled, prep'd and repainted? might be cheaper to just replace the bumper.

This occurs on the front bumper underneath with lazy drivers mostly. There is a plastic skid plate under the front bumper. I assume that is what you are talking about? Bentley's have alift system that if used you never should scrape the skid plate. Never heard of it on the rear though?

 

ya exactly that spot, underneath the front bumper but i didnt see a plastic skid plate, just the bottom of the bumper. probably lazy drivers lol.
