Probably the dealership and VW dealer... or qualified VW independant.

4 Year Service done.

Bentley Downers grove quoted me $2200+tax including parts. I became enterprising and called Fox Valley Volkswagen. To my surprise, they are willing and able to do the same service for $1600. Still, I was determined to get this done cheaper by buying my own parts and paying someone to do some manual labour.

12 Bentley spark plugs
2 cabin air filters
2 intake filters
2 windshield wiper blades
2 bottles of synthetic brake fluid
1 oil filter
1 gasket
1 remote battery
1 oil drain plug
13.5 quarts of Mobil 0/40w full Synthetic oil

Total: $955.

i know that via eBay Miller (Bentley dealer) sells the XYZ-intervale service kits, did you get it from them of find it cheaper? Am curious as can do my own majors as well and seems the air/cabin filters are very $$$. Many thanks.

The kit that they have for $729 I was able to get for $650 locally. The work was done by a shop I have taken all my previous cars to for service. I refuse to pay the bentley dealership $150/hour for something someone else can do for half that. The only caveat is that you will not get the Bentley stamp on your service manual, which I didn't really care much about in the first place.

Agreed and provided you keep good records you should be fine. All vehicles here have their own dedicated service records/books. This way when the car moves to a new person they have very detailed and complete data.

tonyguy is infamous around these parts
I'd talk to Fluid Motor Union over in Plainfield. They do a lot of maintenance on higher end vehicles, along with a lot of performance upgrades.
