Has anyone discovered this? Just bought a 2006 Bentley Continental GT, and the third party bodyshop working on other parts for me tells me they can't fix the trim alignment at the bottom rear of both doors.

The rear trim on the body behind the doors is not flush - it sticks out by 3mm or so on both sides even though it is correctly positioned to the body lines.
The photo is taken diagonally from below the exterior mirror, showing the bottom of the door.



It looks like the bottom 10-15cm of the door is out by this much too - but not the rest of the door which is nice and flush. If say, the shop is going to refit the door, won't they mess up the rest of it?

One of the salesman at my dealership said that a recent GT he saw had the same problem. I also think I saw it in an eBay listing. Seems to be quite common.

Any other solutions or comments before I get them to look at it again?
