Thank you very much.

With the nice two battery system how long could we expect to let the car sit and the battery charge be ok? What drains are on the system?

Not sure how long, though have let the 2006 CGT sit at the airport for about 18 days and she started fine. What drains the batteries are the clock and others memory bits that remain 'on' even when car is not being driven. Have no specific list of what those may be and have never seen one. i believe during one of the car computer updates during normal service the factory had better management of what is on and off whist car is not being operated, and thus this extends the life of the battery charge when the car is not in use.

Armed alarm is a battery killer on most cars too. (Always killed all of mine, except the CGT)

I don't like acronyms, since they denote a mysterious 'inner circle' membership... those who know and those who don't... which is elitist. And if you're dyslexic, you'll be even more confused.

On another forum I had posted, the owner had bought a CTT. Took me 10 minutes of research to figure out that was a Cayenne, but still can't work out what the CTT letters represented.

I tell you, acronyms waste more time than they save

That must be an example of the "firmware" you mentioned on anther thread.? I know I had to re-intitialize my seats to program the memory buttons as the power to the on board computer must have filed at some time before I bought the car. I am sure it requires some power to remember what it does.

On the other hand you of all the members are the least qualified to respond to these questions since you drive your continually. I bet I will fall into second place since I have put 2k on mine in a month. Lets keep-em hot bro.

Roughly speaking. Yes.

A battery is like others things---------use it or loose it. My four wheelers went down hill only with disuse let not our more valuable things die of atrophy.
