What are you guys using for fluid? I went out and bought some de-icer/cleaner and was ready to put it in and then checked the book for recommended fluids. It calls for a mixture if 30% isopropyl alcohol and 70% water. I wonder why it calls for that and if the store bought fluids are ok to use?

 

i use Rain-X 2-in1 (orange color). Works fine.

 

That is what I bought. I wonder what is in it? I looked and did not find a label that described the contents.

For shame on me I had the car out and it rained on it.

 

On the way home at lunch I saw seven water droplets on the windshield.

I brought the truck back to work.
