Bentley Magazine

Do you all get the magazine? Do you enjoy it? Has it influenced any of your purchasing or travel?

Most of the stuff in there seems a bit over my head(budget). Fine looking publication for sure.

Yes, yes, not yet and maybe and maybe. Articles in the Bentley magazine are well written, yet at times really come off a bit too advertorial. They are trying too hard, which is truly the opposite of being understated. The Patek Philippe magazine is perhaps one of the best 'private label' publications imho. Even if we remove the astrological/timepiece information, the sheer depth and quality of writing plus photography work is stunning! They seem to strive at educating their readers on some very interesting, and perhaps esoteric, items/places/etc.

Doc, you don't seem to have appreciation of the fine body of work represented in the Bentley magazine - the articles, the ads, the insight, etc. I must say that I am not surprised. And obviously, you don't have the foggiest idea as to the purpose of the "Bentley" magazine. So I will take the time from my busy schedule to point it out (to the friend of the Tooth Fairy). The purpose of the Bentley magazine is to carefully place it along with other publications, on your coffee table. Specifically, place it, not on top, but to where most of the word Bentley is exposed.

Did you say sumpin? It has to share the table with Rack and Gun Hunter along with American Bagger.

It is the most beautiful magazine I have ever seen, period. But when I read it makes me feel like a poor ignorant neanderthal. The writing is so elegant that it does not seem like real langue to me. The advertisements of the watches makes my stuff appear as sundials. The travel articles are so exotic that I could only dare to dream of doing all that.

Did I say I love the magazine? I do. Just wondered what you all thought.
