Blah, blah. All of us end users will have test these toys. So fun.

 

Let someone else be the test driver, when they get to Gen 2 and refined Gen 3, THEN may be time to dive in. Am not a privateer who likes Gen 1 or even Gen 2 track cars. By Gen 3 they usually get things properly sorted.

 

True, this thing is only the first of its kind. Did you know they are going to build a few hundred of the so called " street version" of these?

 

Reminds me of what i did the Ferrari. Turned it from a street vehicle into a barely street legal track rat. Horrible on the roads and compromised for the track, thus it excelled at nothing per se. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great idea for Bentley as it allows privateers to finance research, development, etc. Simply count me out until they get it more sorted out.


On another note, we could have four guys pitch in and sponsor/drive one at the 24 Hours Of Daytona. A few friends of mine do that with TRG, etc. Would be nice to have a Bentley racing in this 24 hour endurance event plus it really does help to see the car's strengths and weaknesses, thus further aiding development.

 

The 24 Hours of Daytona would be perfect for the Bentley. My wildest guess is that they will start a race class/circuit for tuned out Bentley's .

 

Anyone know why they called it a GT3? Completely confusing with the Porsche.

And why Bentley are about to call their SUV the same name as a prominent Australian-made car, the Falcon?

There are still tons of names out there for some creative ad agency to figure out. Plenty of other car names were made up too - like Edsel for example

 

I know, reminds me too much of Porsche. How about GTS7?
