my right front window needs a window regulator anyplace else besides dealer to purcashe?

Do you have a pic of the part/part#. There may be an Audi or VW equiv part.

 

I doubt it. They are car specific based on door design. I had to buy one for my CGT. Dealer had it in stock. About $400. My body shop installed it for a lot less than the dealer would charge.

 

The best option may be to get what you have rebuilt. Just do some basic googling... one company comes up with what appears to be tons of experience and they specifically list many bentleys. They claim to rebuild them better/stronger than new.

Alternatively, there are a couple places in the UK that sell new bentley parts for lower prices than most US dealers. Get a CD copy of the parts/workshop manual if you do order anything, sounds like it would be useful.

I stand corrected. Google "rebuilt window regulators". There is a a company in the USA that has rebuilt units for a CGT for $200. Cables and pullies are replaced as required along with the motor itself.
