Whats the owners views on these laptop systems for the GT. Does any one have any real world experience of using one.

What sort of security codes are there for the car and are they obtainable.
for eg I wrote off to Porsche UK and obtained my IPAS codes for all the modules in the car which allowed me to code new keys and transfer data from defective modules into a new modules etc.

I have NO idea at all on those 'higher level' security commands. Never personally used the VAG-COM system yet it does MANY things for the Bentley. Bentley service tech about 2 years ago told me it can do some things their program/terminal can't. Have a feeling Bentley upgraded since then tho so...
