A good question here.. Really hard to find a similar upgrade in the future. Wanted to buy a Panamera but picked up CGT instead. Perhaps a Ferrari FF would be an ideal upgrade.

The reason why i like CGT is bcoz it's a 2 door sport coupe with a decent look suitable for businessman, 4 seater is an added advantage too. I dont want my client to see me in a fancy sport car as if i'm ready to go on the race track.

I was in the exact same position when shopping for a car in January. I wanted an AWD 4-seater. With a 36-month lease, $0 down and taxes in the payment, ,10K miles/year Porsche wanted $2,100/mo for a mildly-optioned Panamera GTS. Similarly optioned Turbo was around $2,600-$2,700/mo. And by "mildly", I do mean "mildly" - no upgraded sound system, no contrast stitching, standard wheels, no ventilated seats, etc. Ridiculous! And this was after their "Conquest" discount and a price reduction applied because a friend of mine knew the dealership owner.

Audi S8 was $2,100/mo as well. Also ridiculous for a $120K car.

So I went for a Bentley instead.

Bentley says style, class and success but also stable and secure, not to risky for your $ to handled by me. I find it odd that a Lambo and the Bentely GT would be given equal consideration in a choice being very opposite purpose built cars?

Unless you are in the UK, then it says "Footballer"

You are right of course IF one lives within the States, Asia, etc. THEN we "have style, class and success but also stable and secure". (Humor) At least that is what I want others to THINK

Our here footballer means overpaid violent thug. I have heard of the bad image these guys have given the lovely Bentley GT.

Since 2008 I've been looking but I can't find another car that provides the style, comfort, exclusivity, luxury, and power of the GTC. I'm on my third and I use it daily. But one car isn't enough because sometimes you want a more fun ride so that's why we ordered a 2014 Porsche Carrera S. That should take a lot of mileage depreciation off the GTC.

In 30 months when my factory warranty runs out, I'll be looking again and maybe by then there'll be some new competition. Otherwise, GTC #4 in early 2016, but this time I'll custom order it rather than buy one off the dealer's lot.

Are you getting a V8 or a W12?

I got my V8 in December so by Dec., 2015 I'll see what's out there and if there's nothing new to lure me away from Bentley, I'll order a 2016, probably another V8. Maybe by then there'll be a hybrid!

^ a diesel is in the future for sure. One semi based on the audi racing diesels I bet. Would suit the car well having a twin turbo v6 making 1000lbs of tq and 450 hp along with 30mpg.

I always wanted a convertible. I'm patiently awaiting for Lamborghini to release more details about the replacement for Gallardo and hope price of Gallardo lp560 Spyder will drop further <$150k.

GTC is really tempting and IMO way sexier than the Coupe. Will definitely consider one when my current CGT is on its last legs.

Speaking of my CGT, it is getting better every day! The ride is smooth and comfortable.

Has anyone cross-shopped CGT with Ferrari 612? From what I've seen, they are both comfortable grand tourers.

Was your Bentley lease similar?

I'm currently selling my 2013 Bentley GT V8 for a Tesla Model S P85+. I know, some might think I'm crazy, but I'm a tech geek, so I couldn't resist, haha.
