From what I read, yes. There's a electric switch like in Porsches.

Congratulations, very nice indeed. The non Turbo Porsche 911's have PSE. Porsche Switchable Exhaust. Its a shame my 08 Speed doesn't have the same
Ah well will just have to disconnect the vac hoses.

What's the big advantage of the V8 over the W12? I would imagine fuel economy must be better? Also servicing must be easier and less expensive ?

you are correct , Ive always called it switchable as its far from being a real sports exhaust
but yes you are correct.
Coming from 6tt we don't have PSE only real sports exhausts.

Fuel economy and weight in the corners. The V8 is actually quicker than the V12. The V12 faster at top end.

Being quicker imo is more important than top end any way. cant say I will ever get the chance to take my speed to its top end.
