Repairable or no? I will be going to my shopping center tonight or tomorrow so I will pickup the pieces. I just reread your comment, I see you understand what happened. Ok..got it off Johnny, just trying to see if I can get it flush with that rubber now. I take it the white gear rods holds it in place.

@TeamJones1962 ,
Good morning TJ, How did you make out, the white gear pieces are actually what adjust the mirror up down, l&r. I don't want to pull this one apart to figure it out, I don't want to possibly break it. Johnny ... https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.6sp...52b3ad237a.jpg |
I got it back on and it moves as it should. I’ll stick the mirror back on and let you know how it holds up.

I guess you would need to put LED bulb with resistors preinstalled? What size bulb was it again!

Led strip in side view mirror
Been following this thread with interest. I have a cracked lens which houses LED strip. How do I remove this unit? Removing the mirror was very straight forward but can’t work out how to remove LED strip unit
