05 Bentley GT

Hi guys,

I am strongly considering purchasing an 05 Bentley GT. Outside of having a full Bentley inspection by the dealer, and full service records, I was curious as to what would be considered high miles on that year? Also on one with acceptable miles, what would be a fair price to pay? Also any recommendations on extended warranties, and is it worth it? Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!!

Hi

Just bought an '05 with full history, not stopped smiling since......

Things to watch for are

Tyre condition £285 a corner,
Brake condition
Rear brake light
Rear spoiler working
TPMS sensors £40 a corner more if it needs a controller
water in the boot can effect electrics
Service due

Think that was all I looked for, anything I missed?

mine has 65k on, price is around £30k for an '05 dependant on mileage. There is one with 150k on and running like new.

I bought it over the internet from a dealer without a warranty, I would have liked one for piece of mind as there can be big bills lurking if you are unlucky but the cars seem fairly bulletproof. I guess it is a bit of a lottery, the first car I looked at had a good warranty at £1k a year but I am not sure if they actually ever pay out as there always seems a reason not to.

My 04 had 30,000 miles when I bought it. Things to look out for:

1. Is the ride height control working?
2. What is the condition of the brakes? I think they are $3000 a set.
