Bush Wear - What are the common failings?

Hi all

I cant help but think i have some worn bushes on the front of my 2005, 54k miles CGT because when going over speed humps at low speed i can feel a bounce / kick back from the front suspension when the wheels settle on the road after the hump.

Its as if there is play somewhere in the bushes, it feels like the wheels are too heavy for the suspension so my question is "what are the common bush failings on the CGT and is replacement probable at 54k miles?"

Thanks

Carl

The independent who replaced some of my bushes, used a caliper gauge to measure them.
I think he found some from an Audi A8 were the same size and used these.

Looking online this morning i noticed that a genuine Bentley lower front wishbone link arm with part no 4E0407151J is also the same part for a Phaeton and the item is £48 GBP cheaper than the CGT one on eBay (£78 as oppose to £126 which is a lot cheaper than the dealer price) so that gives a starter atleast

I think finding this info is going to be hard.

Well, that's good news and a good start

Not happy with my Audi A8 tip?
Issue will be from which exact year and model. Think that pressing out the bushing and taking to an Audi parts specialist might work.
