Operating Instructions make no mention of Engine Symbol in Dash Warning Lights. Mine came on as I was driving in town. Other than the mfgr wanting to have one take the car to the local garage, is there any particular fault that the symbol is warning about? The car only has 20K miles, so it has not been abused.

 

see my reply to your other post. The owner's manual does give you some insight into this warning light, but nothing too specific other than to mention there is a problem with your exhaust emission system. You will have to have a computer diagnostic to discover what is wrong.
