CB longs should not be overlooked for urban encounters Mel. Let's just say I USED to have a squirrel problem but at least 150 of them have died from acute lead toxicity in my backyard since March of 2012. No eaty my soffits no mo'.

BTW, accuracy from a Ruger 10/22 in 30yds or less is surprisingly good. Just have to pick shots with a backstop but quieter than the HV airguns.

Now....back to the regularly scheduled program......

Mrs B is back from her spa break. Purring like a big relaxed ***** cat and all clean and shiny.

No advisories on the mot and everything sorted. Will post some pics tomorrow if it's sunny.

So now you should have a good idea of what it costs to run one of these fabulous cars for a little over a year....but this has been a period with no dramas...fingers crossed for this year.

Oh...did I mention....I love my car!

I can only "imagine" that she really gets in to her own at 100mph plus and at around 120 just glides along like other cars might do 70mph. I also imagine a little smile on my face as I pass 90mph and the rear spoiler gives me a thumbs up for allowing her to deploy.

I suppose I can only dream about feeling the car hunker down into low mode when she hits 151mph.

Trailer ride

To get the car on the truck for the service you have to put the suspension in to high mode.

Got the car back, drove a few local miles...i thought it felt a bit strange... Kind of wallowing about.

Hit the motorway today and at around 80mph she informed me she was lowering into normal height.

I would have thought they would have put her back in normal after unloading from the truck...but hey ho....it brought a wry smile to my face as Mrs B looked after me once again with her oh so polite messages.

I agree with you on the first comment because 100mph feels like nothing in this car.

I did not however notice any hunkering down at 165mph. The drop of the suspension is not great enough to feel and at that speed there is quite a bit of wind and stuff going by the window such that an inch of ride height is far from your mind. Did I mention the top was down.

If I was going to "cruise" at any speed above 120 I recommend putting the top up.

I think I read somewhere that it lowers 15mm at 151mph but can't find the reference now. It would be cool to be able opt the low mode at any speed though.

There is no way to feel a 15mm drop at 151mph. I am not sure you could see that drop at slow speeds in the parking lot either.
