Pesky Power Boot

My power boot was playing up recently...operating fine apart from not doing what it's meant to, which is lock down.

Power close....open....power close....open.

It's sorted now but I just happened across this in the manual.....

6-19: Boot synchronisation. In the unlikely event of the boot lid not closing correctly, close the boot until 50mm (2in) above the fully closed position. Press the external button on the Bentley badge on the boot lid, allow the boot latch to go through its cycle.....tra la!

Wish I'd read that four months ago when mine started playing up, but I'll know for next time...and now so will you.
