I have had a look at the GT and found that access to the A/C charge point is really simple.
Also found a local Hyundai garage that will recharge the system. I know the owner and he is a fellow petrolhead and race car driver so he has my trust.

I had check up and oil change at a specialist that charged $900. Had coolant and brake fluid replaced for additional $450 and labor charge of $250 to replace rear PDC sensor with bumper off.

Overall happy with their service as they use B trained tech but wasn't too happy when B oil cap was upside down and they forgot to reset service light! Also did not spot driver's door hinge was squeaking slightly so not really sure what their "check up" consist or if they follow the recommended check list from Bentley.

I guess better above is acceptable vs paying $4000 at dealer for check up and oil change!

wow is that 900 hong kong, because the oil has got to be close to that, did he use mobil one, and i am glad i am not the only one that gets upset when the oil cap is on wrong ! if you need to reset service light you can do it through the steering wheel, just let me know and i will walk you through it, i think it is in IETIS as well. jc_333 will become famous soon enough
Hi Peter Quoted prices are in USD, not that cheap but reasonable compared to dealer. I know changing oil is easy but rather have someone who is trained than a monkey to screw something up. Mobile 1 was used but can the GT accept other brands?

I've already reset the service light as it's in user manual too. That upside down B is most annoying like it's staring right at you.

Well, I have had the system recharged, there was a loss of refrigerant according to the mechanic. Unfortunately the aircon is still blowing warm air so I must have another problem.
The fan works fine, so does the temp' control.
Anyone got any thoughts?

if the loss of charge was enough to throw a code, then compressor won't kick in, code needs to be cleared, if it is cold but not cold enough then one of your servo motors might need recalibrating.

Cheers bentleytech.

I checked with my Autel diagnostics and got code 00445. Refrigerant loss TBD.
I thought that I had cleared the code but I did that in the heating/AC mode.
I will do a full systems scan and then clear what is there.
What is the procedure for servo calibration please.

Regards. Les.

not used your type of scanner but if you can access ac control module, see if there is an activate outputs , you may have to hunt around the different options. once found it sets it self up by going to each servo motor setting the potentiometers. hope that helps, but remember to clear that refrigerant loss code.

Thanks again bentleytech, will do.

The Autel scanner that I have is good enough that it identified a left front bass speaker not working. So it's pretty good I reckon.
I am fairly new to it really so I will have a root around.
I did get some info earlier that meant not much to me, such as;

Temp 97f
Temp 153f
Absolute pressure 8.00 bar

7.10 Volts
7.20 volts
56% load
13.50 volts

Temp 75f
Temp 91f
2,900 rpm

At that point I gave up.

Regards. Les.

Fantastic. All sorted, another scan of the HVAC and a quick fault code delete has the A/C running perfectly.

Many thanks bentleytech, your a genius.

Forecast is for 30c next week so it's a good result.
