Exhaust Hangers

Hey

Getting there with the car now completed after 12 months

Wheels - 21" gloss black propellors (needed 3mm spacers)
Jewel fuel cap
Mulliner pedals and gear ****
ipod integration
Overmats
boot rewire
Service
Aircon recharge

In trying to get the exhausts to line up properly I noticed that the brackets have rotted away. So now the car is without its bumper lights and undertray!

I am having some stainless brackets made up to make sure the problem doesn't occur in the future and I'll post some pictures.

Well here they are straight off the laser cutter, what do you think?

Just need to bend them to shape, drill the final couple of holes and away we go.

Then this problem shouldn't come back.

Very nicely done.

You have your own in-house laser cutter?

Nope, but I do have a friend with one. We make new materials and 3d printing so we sometimes trade favours. Hope to fit them on Sunday once I have bent them.

Nice friends to have.

Do upload some installed photos of the new improved hanger.

Thanks

Here you go, not quite as simple as I first thought getting them in the right place and there is a small difference left to right, but I am pleased.
