I KNOW I'm gonna regret asking you this, yet WTF, go for it anyway
So what do you consider is the next car for me Dr D? And no, a Reliant Robin DOES NOT count.

Maybe I can somehow sneak a TVR Tuscan convertible past US regs?

Take a look at BAC Mono. Definitely fun to drive (street legal too) but utterly useless in every other regard.

Alas, I do require two seats. This is why the Ariel Atom is a possibility and a guy has one here in Singapore. FUN CAR!!!!!!!!!! Sure a nice Caterham is good, yet imagine the fun with a top-shelf Atom on the track to scare the SH*T out of the wife. I keep threatening her with a track ride-along

I took my wife on a few laps at Daytona in our 911 with the Porsche club. She won't go to the track with me anymore.

Steven if you really want to scare the "solid waste" out of the wife just tell her you are out of money.

I would not ever be in a position to advise you on such a car so I would have to say get a full dress Harley Davison for you and the wife. As much as I love driving the GTC top down the bike just feels more entertaining. Do you have snow mobiles? I thought of that for you both.

Dr. D,

One of the keys to life is 'know thyself'. A motorcycle for me is akin to suicide. Sorry, yet I know in my heart the Ducati would kill me.

Alas, no snow mobile and did rent one once (see same comment as above).

Snowboarding ALMOST killed me, yet used the board as a 'shield' on the way down the side of the mountain. Saved my life.

Absobloodylutely agree about know yourself. I saw the Ariel Atom on Top Gear last night and that was quite a toy.

I no longer snow ski or hang glide.
