Remove Front License Plate Holder

I just purchased a 2005 Continental GT with front license plate. Don't use here. After removing plate behind is framework for other holder with 6 phillips screws attaching to car. These just spin when trying to remove. Help!! Ugly with this holder on car. Thanks Frank

Smile Remove License Plate Holder

Figured it out myself. Holes for bracket are 5/16th. Bought bumper plugs from Home Depot. Online to Amazon put in Umbrian Red (my color) came up VW color. Paid $19.95 for touch up paint as opposed to $97.50 @ Bentely dealer. Drilled piece of wood 5/16th and put the 5 plugs in holes. Painted, waited 24 hours re-painted, waited 24 hours installed. Can barely see and front end looks much better.

Go to "advanced" when you either reply or start a new thread. Under advanced, you will see "manage attachments". By selecting "browse" you can navigate through your own computer to the pic/diagram/file and once you double click that, select upload and when you post your pics will be there. Simple right? (I'm 71 and dumber than a bag of hammers. If I can do it, anyone can. )
