Hi All

The right hand side Trunk lid motor on my 2009 GT speed has failed and I have been quoted 2000gbp to replace it

does anyone know how much the motor costs and also the part number so I can try and source one myself

After a little checking, it looks like the part number is 3W0827852E. It retails in the U.S. for $1130.06. I don't know how that translates into GBP.

just curious as the dealer wants to charge me $3k to fix it so that's $2k labour ????

 

I would ask for a breakdown of the parts and labor charges. That sounds like a lot in labor, but there might be some differences in parts pricing.
