richard181 is infamous around these parts
Floor mat Anchors

So I went to replace the carpeted floor mats with a winter mat and found one of the floor mat anchors had lost its nut. Then another floor mat anchor was loose and the nut fell off.

Is there a way to retrieve these nuts so they don't rattle around or just forget them.

Is there any trick in reinstalling the anchors once i get new nuts for the anchor studs.?

Thanks

If they are same spinning round dark grey ones as in the 2006 GT, my mechanic said they need to remove the carpeting to do it
