Hmmm, it could be the typical $3500 fix of the $300 defective hose just above the transmission. Thus it requires an engine out service. This is very common and Bentley knows of the defect. While they're in there, odds are you might need some suspension bushings and whatnot too so perhaps plan on around $5000 to get things sorted.

I don't disagree with Steven's observations, but am curious if you have any symptoms over and above the CEL. Is the engine idling smoothly?

Assuming you have a left-hand drive, try opening the driver's door with the engine running and listen for the sound of a pump running in the left front wheel well. Try stepping on the brake and then release it and see if the pump keeps running. Let us know.

Hello All,

I do not believe that the code is pertaining to the vacuum leaks or vacuum pump as the two previous post suggest, it is a secondary air injection code for bank 2.

Hmmm, is this the cold engine startup error? You know, during the first 60 seconds. If so, that's an easy $60 DIY fix. Let me know guys and I can take pics. My error code log is incomplete as was moving, yet part # is 07C906051.

Found my log, YES it is the part above. Lemme take some pics. BRB.

Ok, the procedure is as follows.

Open hood

Remove the plastic small black cover by pulling it towards the front of the car. This gives you working room.

Remove the two stock black ALLEN bolts (one top, one bottom). FYI: Stupid me dropped one during reinstallation so I used Phillips when reinstalling. It is a bit tight to get access to the lower bolt yet very doable and not really that hard.

Swap defective old for new part.

Reinstall screws HOPING to not have one drop onto the black hole of the car's lower aero (I used Blu-Tack as you can see on the bolt head).

Reinstall small black plastic grill bit

Clear error code.

You're done. :)

BTW this circuit is only used during startup so no damage or symptom during normal operation is what I've been told.

Drive it like you stole it. :)

I realise this is an old thread - but just wanted to say I had this very issue recently, ordered the £30 part, replaced the old worn part with the new ( so worn the screws had rusted into the thread ) reset the light and it has worked a treat.

Thank you for all the invaluable information on this forum !

I just got the P2433 code and MIL on. My RossTech says Bank 1 sensor is bad. I see the picture of the bank 2 sensor here. Does anyone know the location of the bank 1 sensor.? Hopefully it’s easy to reach...

Remove the facia... lots of t25 torx bolts.

Then remove right air intake. Push in toward the engine, twist it up and out.

There is the bank 1 secondary air pressure sensor.
