Early Model Radiator Grille vs Late Model

Does any know the dimensional difference of the radiator grille assembly between the 04-08 GT vs 09-11 GT? I have a 04 GT and trying to fit a Supersports Bumper. I read from some that I need a new radiator grille assembly because there will be a gap from the older grille.
