I remove the wiper nut and while tightening it, it snapped off even though I was using the right torque 17.4 lb/ft.

It seems like the bolt is integrated with the main wiper mechanism and it is $$$$ to replace.

What are my options? Will the wiper blade fly off without the nut securing it?

Is there any way to glue the broken bolt back?

 

I would not trust any glue, no matter what the claimed strength is!....can it be spot welded back, I'm sure a local bodyshop would be able to do it, depending where the break actually is.

I have a complete wiper linkage with the motor for sale, you call see it on my thread in the marketplace here on 6SPEED.
There is one on eBay for $590 from Germany, and one at Flying Spurs for $635, or mine for $490, if you do not want the motor, I will work with you on price, also the stud in held in by a C clip as shown in pictures, but that would be breaking apart a perfectly good linkage assembly.....
