2012 Continental W12 Exhaust Feedback/Opinions

I just picked up a '12 Continental with the W12 engine and I do love the car so far, but I am VERY disappointed in the exhaust note, it definitely doesn't sound as good as the V8 does! I would like to add a little "growl" to the exhaust, but i don't want it to end up sounding like a Lamborghini, so I would probably just do a cat-back system, not X-pipe and headers as well.

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts surrounding Fabspeed, Quicksilver or Larini? I had a Borla on my BMW 650i and a Magnaflow on my Range Rover and absolutely loved the sound on those, but unfortunately neither of those companies makes a cat-back system for Continentals...

These are the ones which I think would fit the '12 Conti:

First thing to do is disconnect the rear silencer vacuum hoses and block them off. Sounds nicer and it's an easy free mod'.

Thanks Les, I will give it a try, I am not very "mechanically inclined", so we will see how it goes!

Still would love to know if anyone has experience though with the cat-back systems from Fabspeed, Larini or Quicksilver and how they compare?

....back in 1954 when I was 23 had a new Red Ford Sunliner Converible...just back from the Korea thing (police action)...put on dual glass packs and cement blocks in trunk to lower...
We tend to grow out of those things...Perhaps one is too young to appreciate a Bentley...As Built...JimB

Les.
Done this on my 2006 and makes a big difference, is it the same procedure on the 2012+ model?
