GT Speed Convertible

Friend of mine said he was looking at a 2009 GT Speed Convertible on line. I didn't know they made Speed model convertibles . Did they?

In 2009 think they did have a GTC Speed. Just warn him about the known convertible top problem with holes in the rear corner, plus the rear glass just falls out if he lives in a hot climate (don't ask me how i know). He can always keep around $17,000 in the bank ready to pay for a new top when it needs replacing. Seems to be relatively common so the dealership will know what to do.

Here's a link and service guy who has a thread about it.

And a video about another problem.
