If your referring to the front struts, I have a 2007 GT and changed them both out at about 41k miles last year. I would probably say it has to do more with time obviously then mileage. I have always heard that you can change them out one at a time as they fail so that's what I did. The drivers side went first and about 8 weeks later the passenger side went so if it ever happens again I will just do both at the same time and save myself the trouble. It cost me $1200 per side at my indie and the stealership wanted $4700 per side including their recommendation for an alignment, I obviously don't use the stealership any longer for anything.
