CGT Air Filter Choices

I want to change my engine air filters and cabin air filters. I do not want to use higher flow filters like K&N or oiled ones. Are there any options to dealer parts that are as effective but less expensive. For example, I found genuine VW Phaeton engine filters that show they also fit Bentley CGTs. Can I assume they are the same product at a lower cost? I see cabin filters on ebay for about US$75.
Should I just stick with dealer parts or have you found options. I am not looking to buy cheap parts but if I can find the same spec parts perhaps by the same producer that supplies Crewe without the dealer markup, I would consider. If not, where do you buy genuine parts online to save the long trip to the dealer

I've had good luck with these people: https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/. Talk with Chris Boyd in sales. [chris@scuderiacarparts.com].

Amazon and eBay too. Saved big on charcoal air filters via eBay.

Many thanks for the input and sources. I'm comfortable with aftermarket cabin filters, After all, I've been driving cars for 40 years with no filters so I don't see the value.
What about Phaeton labeled or aftermarket engine filters -- any experience or opinions on these? Any preferred aftermarket manufacturers Also any additional, preferably US based, sources for OEM or aftermarket sources.

I would recommend BMC for 135 ebay, or aftermarket for 45 on ebay. I went for BMC as i planning to do remap.

I've had BMC on mine for nearly 4 years with no issues. I do check them now and again and give them a blast off with an air line. It's amazing how many bugs get in there.

I think it's good to reoil them every few years. I did on my k&n on previous car.

Source for Parts

Posted this earlier in another thread and probably related to this one, too:

Update on source for parts:
I found this UK site that seems to have good prices for OEM genuine parts as well as alternative aftermarket parts. It's https://www.introcar.co.uk

Free shipping at least to UK and US -- didn't check other destinations. 10% discount for first order, too. Prices appear to be about 35% less than dealer at exchange rate of $1.30. Here's an order I placed for OEM engine and cabin air filters. I'll update after I receive.

I'll take a look at their site.
