Bentley Gt 2004 cooling fan problems
Bentley Gt 2004 cooling fan problems
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help?
The car overheated last week for first time in standing traffic and since then does the following.
Driving with good air flow- temp is good
standing still or slow moving - temp stops at 90 for a while and the fans only come on very briefly at very slow speed or not at all until over heats and goes into the red.
Have changed both coolant temp sensors.
Diagnostic says fault with fan 1 and 2
both fans are working and not stuck or perished in anyway
I have heard them both working at full speed when the car is switched off (occasionally)
Heator blower works fine.
Could it be both fan modules ???
and anybody have an idea how to remove the fan assembly and getting to the 4 screws ??
Any advise would be appreciated.

Hi Hammond.
Welcome to the forum.
Sorry, I can't help with the problem, but I can point you in the right direction to a fairly local Indie to Manchester that some of us on here use. Ivor is the man when it comes to GT's, etc.
Have a look for 'GT Services' in Crewe and you won't be disappointed.
Good luck with the fans.
Les.
