hi, can i remove this and buy some additional item to store keys etc?

Hi Kes.

Yes you can. I removed mine as the phone never worked anyway. I now have my I-Pod classic sat in there with the wires going out the rear and up to the CD connection.

Great, looks like it just pulls up. Can't you buy some part to have nice storage something like that.

Sorry, I don't know of any other part.
As the I-Pod is always covered by the top part of the armrest, I tend to forget about it as it's not on view.
