How do I remove the pollen filters under the hood? I pulled on one and it snapped off but sounded as if it broke so I stopped.

Are there tabs or snaps or anything that I need to be aware of?

Any help would be appreciated.

I just replaced the cabin filters on the underside of the hood. I've read that there are no tabs or special tricks -- just brute force. Crewe spared no expense in making these out of really tough plastic. I broke one and then it came right out. The new ones snap in easily though. Maybe others have discovered a technique. I thought of a pry bar or claw hammer to lever it out but that could damage the hood from the inside. I wouldn't use any tool.
