tips on replacing vacuum pump, 2007 Bentley Continental GT

I have a noisy vacuum pump, ahead of the front door, left side.

Has anyone ever replaced this part?

There must be a reference to this in the posts somewhere. If anyone can direct me to it, or offer advice, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for your help.

Bob

Hello Bob,
The first thing to do is to put the vehicle into "jack mode" as shown in the picture below supplied by member ExSF, next jack her up, remove the drivers front wheel, then remove the wheel well liner, you will see the vacuum pump to the lower right of the wheel well, it can be seen in my pictures on posts numbers 6 & 16 of my Re-Build thread linked below.

Thanks Johnny

Those pictures answer a lot of other questions, too.

Good luck with this project.

Bob
