Splitting headlights

I was planning to remove my headlights and split them open to install halo ring daylight running lights and paint the insides black.

Has anyone done this before?

i havn't on a Bentley headlight but on another i put it in the oven to soften the glue whatever and pulled the lense apart,goodluck.

I used to do sets on Fiesta's I always used a hairdryer and a blunt screwdriver. But I imagine my Bentley will be slightly differed

i'll be honest with you I havn't looked but you've intrigued me now,i'll have a look in the morning, I did a few supra headlights in the oven no problems with them.

hmmm I've found front bumper and wings need to be taken off and then i'm assuming just like any other headlamp to split and reseal. Good luck.
