So driving along the highway, front tire comes apart. Roadside service ask me where the lock key is for the nuts on my wheel. Not in the trunk or in the car! So they could not put the spare tire on. Come home and try the nut key from a 2008 Bentley GTC, that one was a little too big. It is like a star shape with many points on the star. What are my options? I’ve attached 2 pics, one shows the lock nut at the 3 o’clock position.

Can’t change tires until I figure out how to get the nuts off.

You might contact a couple foreign car shops and see if they have a universal wheel lock removing set for British cars. Most tow trucks carry the kit for American cars. If not you might need to experiment with a large vice grip and then use a lug wrench to facilitate the removal. It will not be easy but it can be done. You might check with Snap-On Tool guy. Hope it works for you.

Bentley should be able to supply a new one from your VIN.
Not sure if the likes of Flying Spares would have them but they might be worth asking.

 

Just another thought. Have you checked that it's not fallen to the bottom of the wheel well?

Glad you are okay and no apparent damage this time.....
As far as the lock, I have that style on my 05, but I seem to remember that both my 05 and the black 06 parts vehicle both had the same 13 point lock, I remember thinking that it was odd that they were the same at my time of removing wheels on both vehicles, meaning both lock keys work on either set of wheel lock bolts, so count how many points your lug bolt has and see if one is available locally for you, I only have the 1 lock now and I am in New Jersey, but if you are in a jam and the dealership would be to long, I would ship mine as a loaner.
