1997 Turbo RL

Been watching & bidding on this black '97 turbo on eBay. It's sold by a guy who claims to have over 50 RR/Bentley. Ther's a six year gap in the carfax, with only a couple thousand miles driven in that time span. Car LOOKS great, but the guy seems a bit odd.
Anyone know a Ryan Mullen in the New Orleans area that can vouch for him?

Don't recognize the name Ryan Mullen.

Watch out for flood vehicles especially with unexplainable gaps in miles and/or years. I wouldn't be comfortable buying a NO vehicle without seeing it and doing my own inspection. That goes for Florida, Houston, N&S Carolinas and New Jersey vehicles too. Of course, if someone is really trying to hide flood damage they'll ship to another state to sell....like Arizona.

Good luck to you! Bentley Turbo Rs are cool cars. Almost bought one myself.

Yep, first thing I think of is FLOOD with cars from deep south. This car was in New Mexico apparently until this past June. Still trying to figure out if the seller is on the up & up...

Well, this is funny coincidental. Read the second half of this article:

Yes, I had read that, which sparked my skepticism about him. Mullen told me he has 53 RR/Bentley at this time, and this one is simply reducing his fleet.

Caveat emptor. The thought of litigation costing more than the car?
