X's 7000 battery conditioner
Hi guys managed to get a Bentley battery conditioner just because it was on eBay and I was bored at 2am ha ha
But can't for the life of me work out what's missing .the lead comes with a screw type fitting not one that slots into the 12v cigarette lighter and it has 2 pins .I guess I need some kind of adapter .I just presumed it would screw on to something connecting the battery,I guess I'm missing a part . https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.6sp...fe2c9b0874.jpg |

To make it easy to use in the boot, get a male cigarette lighter adapter with pigtails. Cut off the old ends of the charger. Solder and shrink tube the joints of the charger loose ends to the pigtail cigarette lighter adapter. Pay attention to the polarity so the charger plugs into the terminal in the boot properly.

Here is a photograph: cut the end off the maintainer to adapt to the boot charge port using a male cigarette adapter. Hope this helps. |

I was thinking that's the part that goes to the car. Perhaps I'm confused since electrical outlets are different in Europe then here USA.🤔😉🙄
He has purchased a plug but it seems only 1 part of it, he's missing the other end, what I don't understand is you want him to fit a cigarette light adaptor, thats where I'm getting confused, sorry maybe its me (getting old) :( Also he's only showing the plug & not the rest of the cable ... |

All depends on the charger what cable to use & a cigarette adaptor can be easily pulled apart, its not the safest way, there are lots of 12v 30A plugs around like ebay for a few pounds that lock together, as shown in my example pic ... |

They're soldered with shrink tube inside the tape job. Didn't have large shrink tubing at the time to put over everything. That'll be our secret. Most of the time I'm detail-oriented, getting older has its advantages.
I wonder if British got his car back, he's had a lot of work carried out on the car, wonder if the BenHur got sorted be good to know what failed & why ... Oh getting old yah I suppose it does in one way it comes around to quick tho ... |

Can post a photo if you would like. If you have a cig-lighter there, you might be able to wire up the Female receptacle for this. |

Yep! I second 1eapplebaum and TeamJones suggestion at those prices.
