Leather Honey 🍯

Finally got around to cleaning and conditioning my panels and seats today and it’s like night and day. If you never done it or had it done I would strongly recommend it! Leather looks refreshed.

LEXOL Leather Care

Used Lexol on my 2010 Spur's hide. Result: cleaned, moisturized and looking elegant as ever.

Wow! Great results guys!

I had good luck and found the following dye (in my case saddle) be a perfect match for any items where there may be stains or wear. Ordered their repair kit in saddle to take care of a scuff on the dash and now it's invisible. Also, there was some wear on the steering wheel that I thought was a stain, but after cleaning and dabbing with the dye, looks brand new. Had to give serial / model info, as apparently there were or perhaps are a couple of versions of saddle.

I just got my colourlock for my Bentley. Just needed to touch a slight wear on the drivers outside bolster. A perfect color match.

Personally, Im not a fan of glossed leather, it reminds me of the old tin can spray that secondhand dealers used to cover everything in. I much prefer the original new matte finish just as they leave the showroom.

I always thought it was a “soaking in” over time thing. That’s why you don’t have to do it often. Like once every 2 yrs. Once the sun hits it in the summer and it has time to go deep into the leather I’m sure that non glossy look will be back. But it’s more about protection then looks to me. I hate the look of cracked leather.

I agree - the pictures lppk like the seats were sprayed with armor all. The key to leather protection is to properly clean first and then treat leather with a product that leaves a matte finish not high gloss. Always wipe away excess with microfiber cloth. And never, ever never sit on beige / white / light colored leather with blue jeans no matter how often they have been washed!

So in that first pic, the left is after, right is before, right?
