My baby is sick

Sorry to see that .
Shortly after getting mine I took it to a main dealer for a full 1hr diagnostic check ....just out of curiosity/ peace of mind .
Minor stuff like exhaust clamp loose , under tray fixings missing , lens in the door mirror puddle light cracked etc etc .
But they also told me two of the wheels were buckled !
Apparently it’s common .....they check as part of the service or report for a part ex to see if it’s good enough to go on there approved Bentley schedule.
No TPMS or vibrations or any other symptoms......it’s just as far as they were concerned it would need two new wheels if they were to sell it through themselves being a main Bentley franchise etc .
The tech comes and sits down to discuss the report with you .When questioned he suggested just leave it he said especially if zero vibrations or air loss issues .
Its worse the bigger rim you go .Mine are std Mulliner 19 s on 40 profiles .
Obviously that one in your pic is toasted and it would have deflated instantaneously after the hit .....visually obvious what’s happened.
But a lot of us are running round ( excuse the pun ) on unknown buckled wheels that fall below Bentley trade in standards .

That is one big pothole.
What profile tyres do you run on the 20" wheels? I have just fitted a set of Michelin Pilot 4S's as the Pirelli's that came with the car were 7 and 8 years old and were pretty hard. Mine came with 275/40R20s. The tyre shop said I should fit 275/35R20s but my speedo is already slower than the GPS by 5-6kph @ 100kph and I didn't want to be even slower. They fit quite nicely and should give a nicer ride than a 35 profile with the extra 1/2" of sidewall, and hopefully protect the wheels a bit, not that that would have made much of a difference hitting such a big hole.

I’m running the 35’s on there. I just replace what was already there. The 40’s don’t look too much different do they?

TeamJones that's terrible. What a huge dent! I cringe thinking about how that felt inside. I hope it didn't distort any suspension pieces, I wonder if only the Bentley dealer can do a proper alignment.
When you broke your last wheel, what did it cost to replace?
I think I told you this already, but Fluid Motor Union found a bent wheel (left front) and I had no idea until it was on the lift and hand-spun. We were able to fix it for a couple hundred bucks, plus refinish it, but I can tell you need a new one.
Ouch.

Last wheel was roughly around $700 iirc and the seller was about 45 mins out so I just drove to go get it. No luck this time so I had to get one from out of state. Yea I have that 3rd brake light I want Fluid to do and see if they can do my vacuum leak with just taking the rack and pinion out. Since it’s on jack stands right now I’m doing the brakes. Finished the front and when I get time look up the process on doing the rears and finish them up.

they might be able to. I had the engine out for the wastegate solenoid and had them replace the vacuum lines just because it was out. I know they will do the third brake light without taking everything apart, I sent them the narrative from here on how to do it and they had no problem.
What's the tricky part about the brakes, I know you have to use the Ross-tech, do you have to reset the pad depth or something?
