2013 Conti GTC - Electrical faults and gemlins question

I am getting a number of faults. First it was a parking brake fault, then a convertible top fault. I also have a vanity light (under sun visor) that stays on when the car is running. Any direction would be appreciated.

Also what is the best code reader for the car to get the most in depth codes possible.

corveight is infamous around these parts
Do you have the mirror door open in the visor? If not probably will need to replace the visor as I don’t think the switch is serviced separate. Are the batteries original? When the start to fail it can cause all kinds of intermittent problems as the voltage drops below the system threshold.

Thanks for the reply.

No the mirror door slide is closed when the light stays on. The passenger side works like designed but the driver's side vanity light never goes out. Has anyone taken the visor apart and tried to fix the switch? What's involved?

I don't know if the batteries are original but there are no starting or charging issues. So I think it's not the batteries.
